“Justice for all” remains an illusion for many of our citizens. Frustrated by years of unfulfilled promises of reform, feeling devalued and dehumanized, people are spilling into our streets to demand accountability. For many, including members
of the AACRAO community, these events are deeply personal.
We are angry. We feel lost. We remain weary. We are also strong, determined, and resolute. We must join forces and recognize that—collectively—we do have agency, that
our actions can make a difference. It starts by calling out racial injustice when we see it.
AACRAO will make every effort to shine a light on racial injustice and inequality and create forums for you to engage and raise your voices. We
must pull together for meaningful conversation, strategy, organization, and action.
