The International Institute Transfer Credit Workshop offers a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of evaluating international education records for potential advanced standing or transfer credit.
Designed for professionals new to the field or those seeking a stronger foundation, this workshop covers core principles of international credential evaluation, including methodologies, accreditation and recognition standards, key resources, and detecting fraud. Participants will learn how to apply systematic approaches to evaluate credentials from various global education systems.
Building on foundational knowledge, the session will explore transfer credit determination for international programs—ranging from U.S.-style credit systems to programs using hours, marks/credits, or no standardized weighting systems at all.
