  AACRAO roster-members can log in with their AACRAO Community credentials to register for the SEM Conference and/or SEM Institute.  Once logged in, you can register yourself and your colleagues for the SEM Conference and/or the SEM Institute.  If you are unsure of your membership status, contact membership@aacrao.org

• Non-Institutional Participants

  Registration for corporate sponsors of the 2023 SEM Conference is open.
  
  AACRAO will review registrations submitted through the Institutional portal and may reclassify a registration as "Corporate" if it is determined the registrant is affiliated with a company or organization that sells products or services to AACRAO membership.  Classification as a corporate attendee will dictate a higher fee.  Contact corporates@aacrao.org for more information about participation at AACRAO events as a corporate attendee.

  Fees
  Online registration is preferred for the SEM Conference. Information about paper registration can be found, below. Please take note of all posted deadlines regarding refunds and postmark requirements for paper registrations.  Payment is due at the time of registration; invoices and purchase requests are not provided for meeting or workshop registration.
  
  Member and Non-Member Rates
  To qualify for the institutional member rate, the registrant must be a named roster member of a member institution, an organizational member, or an individual member. If you have questions about your membership status, please contact membership@aacrao.org.
  
  Registrants affiliated with a non-institutional organization will be reclassified as a "Corporate Attendee " and will be required to pay the appropriate fees. Contact corporates@aacrao.org for more information about Corporate Membership and participation at AACRAO events.
  
  Discounts
  - Students wishing to attend the conference at a 50% discounted rate must complete and submit a Student Waiver Form to the Meetings department for approval before registering for the SEM Conference
  - Institutional Presenters receive a 20% discount on registration for the Full SEM Conference
  
  The SEM Institute (Sunday, November 5) requires an additional fee of $359.  Registration for the SEM Conference is not required to register for a pre-conference workshop. Click to read a full workshop description.
  
  The Holistic Admissions Workshop (Saturday, November 4) requires an additional fee of $229.  Registration for the SEM Conference is not required to register for a pre-conference workshop. Click to read a full workshop description.
  
  Guest Passes are available for $300 for each additional guest. Guest Pass attendees are limited to the Exhibit Hall and may not attend sessions. Professional colleagues are expected to register for the conference; access sharing is not permitted.

• Paper Registration

  Download the paper registration form and mail or fax it to AACRAO to complete registration for the SEM Conference. Paper registrations must be received at the AACRAO Office via mail or fax by Friday, October 27, 2023.

  Payment for Paper Registrations:
  A check or money order MUST accompany paper registration forms. Payment with credit cards will only be accepted through online registration.  Wire payment can also be accepted; contact meetings@aacrao.org for more information about submitting wire payment for meeting registration.

  • Funds must be in US dollars (USD).  Checks or money orders should be made payable to AACRAO (purchase orders will not be accepted)
  • Include the name of the event and the name(s) of the registrant(s) in the check Memo
  • Payments via check, money order, or wire must be received at the AACRAO Office by Friday, October 27, 2023
  • Forms received without payment will not be processed

  For accounting purposes, the AACRAO Federal Tax ID number is 52-2274900.

  Due to PCI security compliance, emailed registration forms that include credit card details will be destroyed and the form will not be processed.
  

   

• Substitutions, Cancellations, and Refunds

  All changes, substitutions, and cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to meetings@aacrao.org. There is no penalty if the substitute registrant is employed by the same institution as the original registrant. Membership status will be verified and additional fees will be assessed as appropriate.

  Cancellation and Refund Deadlines
  Refund requests will be considered based on the following deadlines. Refunds will be credited in the manner paid. Allow up to thirty days after the meeting to receive your refund.
  

  • On or Before September 29, 2023: no penalty for cancellation; refund given
  • September 30 - October 4, 2023: refund given minus a $150 administrative fee
  • After October 5, 2023: No refunds of any fees paid

  These terms and conditions apply to paper registrations received via mail or fax. If the meeting is canceled or converted to an all-virtual delivery, registrants will be notified in advance.

  If you require accommodation for a hearing, visual, mobility, or other need to fully participate in the event, please email your requirements to meetings@aacrao.org.
