In addition to the general responsibilities of members of the Board (e.g., establishing strategic direction for the Association; setting the mission; ensuring resources for the Association; and overseeing the Association's performance), the President shall direct the Board in meeting its responsibilities. The President serves as the chair of the Board. The President shall also assist in the advancement of the Association by serving in one or more of the following capacities:
