AACRAO’s Strategic Enrollment Management Endorsement Program’s (SEM-EP)
team welcomes two new evaluators, Richard MacLeod and Sara Kelly, and bids farewell and appreciation to outgoing evaluators Jennifer McClure and Patricia M. Pothour. We had an opportunity to speak with SEM-EP Lead Faculty member Christopher Tremblay about the incoming evaluators, Mr Tremblay commented,
I'm thrilled to welcome SEM Endorsement Program graduates Richard MacLeod and Sara Kelly. MacLeod graduated from SEM-EP in 2020 and Kelly finished in 2022. They both bring a wealth of experience as graduates and as professionals in the field.
Each of AACRAO's new SEM evaluators will serve from June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024. SEM-EP Evaluators provide feedback on Field Visit Reports, Webinar Reports, and Capstone Projects using an established rubric.
Richard MacLeod, Registrar at Athabasca University
Richard has worked in post-secondary for over 25 years and has led many student service initiatives including multiple SIS implementations, SEM Plan creation and execution, and front-line service unification.
His SEM-EP Capstone Project was titled Measuring the Impact of Nudging New Applicants to First Registration at Athabasca University.
Dr. Sara Kelly, Vice President of Enrollment Management
Dr. Kelly oversees recruitment and retention efforts at SUNY Brockport, and her portfolio includes Undergraduate Recruitment, Academic Success Center (Orientation, Student Retention, Advising, Transition Programs), Career Services, the Educational Opportunity Program, Registration & Records, Financial Aid, and Strategic Planning and Assessment.
Her SEM-EP Capstone project was titled Developing a College-wide Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Framework for SUNY Brockport.
