Join the Accessibility Task Force

An important aspect of AACRAO’s DEI strategy is inclusion. To fully realize our mission, all of our members must have the opportunity to succeed, including those with various physical or cognitive challenges. The AACRAO Board of Directors approved the task force charge on February 15, 2023. The goal of the task force is to perform an overall audit of the association’s products and services with an accessibility lens. The group will convene in April of 2023 and will complete its work by the end of July 2023. 

AACRAO is seeking 3-5 members to form the task force and which includes one member to serve as co-chair. The group will be comprised of:

• Co-Chair: Rhonda Kitch (President, AACRAO)

• Co-Chair: Jackie Carter (President-Elect, AACRAO)

• One Member (serves as third co-chair)

• Tina DeNeen (Associate Executive Director, Education and Member Development, AACRAO)

• Jody Gordon (Managing Consultant, AACRAO)

• Brittany Brown (Associate Director, IT, and Business Development)

• 3-5 Additional Members

We need to understand how accessibility is being addressed (or not) across all of our products, events, and services to create a thoughtful strategy aimed at promoting greater inclusivity.
