Charge
This task force will perform an overall audit of the association’s products and services with an accessibility lens. The group will convene in April of 2023, and will complete its work by the end of July 2023.
Composition of Task Force:

AACRAO Staff: Tina DeNeen (Associate Executive Director, Education & Member Development), Jody Gordon (Managing Consultant), Brittany Brown (Associate Director, IT and Business Development)
External Support: Stephen Smith, Executive Director of AHEAD

Call to Members: An important aspect of AACRAO’s DEI strategy is inclusion. To fully realize our mission, all of our members must have the opportunity to succeed, including those with various physical or cognitive challenges.
We need to understand how accessibility is being addressed (or not) across all of our products, events and services, in order to create a planful strategy towards greater inclusivity.
While we are open to all applications, we strongly encourage task force members with personal or professional experience with disability services. You must be an AACRAO member in order to be considered.
Proposed Timeline:
Board of Directors approved the charge on 2/15/2023
Call to members end feb/beginning march
Committee Appointment by end of March
Committee work commences April
Committee report by end of July
ED/Staff create a roadmap proposal by Sept 30
