Join us on July 28 to August 1 for the 21st Annual Summer Institute for International Admissions. The institute is a week-long intensive training workshop, covering all aspects of international admissions and evaluation of foreign educational credentials. While the workshop is primarily designed for those new to the field, those with longer experience benefit from this training as well. This institute is also a great networking opportunity for attendees to share problems that they face on a day to day basis with others in the same field.
On Monday, July 28, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about International Student Recruitment. Guest speakers from NACAC, ETS, EducationUSA/Department of State will present on such topics as student visas, third party recruiters and the TOEFL exam.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, July 29 and 30, our presenters will cover the Top Sending Countries according to the 2013 Open Doors Survey. Each country presentation will focus on both undergraduate and graduate records from foreign institutions.
Thursday, July 28 and Friday, August 1 is the hands-on component of the Summer Institute. Attendees will get to practice and apply what was learned on Tuesday and Wednesday’s session using sample documents and interactive exercises. Our experts will be there to answer any specific questions that the participants have on particular issues and difficulties they are currently facing at their home institutions.
