host David Paltza, University Registrar and
DSO of International Admissions at Rocky Vista University will discuss the application of project management principles and methods to effect institution-wide change in process, behavior, and culture.
In preparation for this article, we asked Mr. Paltza to describe his session and goals for presenting it, he responded by saying:
This is more than a how-to on managing projects—quite the opposite. It will offer wise application to ensure innovation as more than just a project, but as genuine org-wide change, from process, to behavior, to mindset, and above all, to culture.
It is actually part of a series I’ve shared at past conferences, along with "Bricks without Straw: Advocating for New Positions and Resources to Fulfill the Immediate Need and Prepare for Continued Growth,” and "Escape the Matrix: Breaking Old Habits, Finding Efficiencies and Doing More With Less in an Ever-Progressing Education Landscape.” If you didn’t attend those, then you can enjoy this session as a stand-alone topic.
