fafsa calendar information

Beginning on Oct. 1, 2016, students will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2017–18 school year. (In the past, they had to wait until January 1). In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping them as they’re going through the college application and selection process.

September 19, 2023

September 19, 2023 | 11:00 am -12:15 pm ET

Representatives from the Ministère de l’Éducation nationale (Ministry of National Education) in France will share updates on two recent developments that include: Baccalauréat de spécialités which replaced the Baccalauréat’s former L, S, and ES subject streams séries since 2021, and Baccalauréat Français International version américaine (BFI), which has replaced the Option Internationale duBaccalauréat (OIB) and will produce its first graduates in 2024.  The Baccalauréat de spécialités represents a substantial evolution for France’s flagship Secondary Education Diploma, and is now fully operational in France and abroad. The BFI is introduced as the French international baccalaureate.
