fafsa calendar information

Beginning on Oct. 1, 2016, students will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2017–18 school year. (In the past, they had to wait until January 1). In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping them as they’re going through the college application and selection process.

Transfer & Articulation Community of Practice Forum

February 25, 2022

Free Webinar | 3:00-4:00 pm ET

With increased student mobility comes a greater demand for our community to come together to support each other in the often complex and varied world of transfer. In response to this demand, AACRAO’s Transfer & Articulation committee is hosting an open community of practice call where any member of the AACRAO community can engage to discuss current issues or trends related to transfer credit, PLA, or articulation.

Scott A. Campbell, Vice President for Partnership Development at CAEL, will join this session to lead discussion on Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) practices and policies.

Whether you are new to transfer credit or a seasoned veteran, this call is open to anyone interested in this topic area to help provide answers to questions membership has on their minds or discuss hot topics that are impacting our campuses today.
