Translation: What little Johnny doesn't learn, old John will never learn. Or -- as the saying goes -- “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”

And yet, every year, a group of AACRAO and NAFSA members working as study abroad officers, international student advisers, admissions officers, registrars, or others with responsibility for postsecondary-level exchanges attend a seminar on German-American educational exchange in the German state of Baden-Württemberg (BW) to do just that – learn new tricks.

The BW Seminar focuses on the German educational system, German-American academic equivalencies, and student exchange between Germany and the U.S. Those in attendance also visit secondary and tertiary educational institutions in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

This year's participants will be on site at BW October 20 - 27. Follow the 2018 trip on twitter at #BWSeminar2018 and see what new tricks this year’s participants bring back.
