Diversify your international student population by capitalizing on scholarship opportunities for both international and study abroad students. This ongoing resource will from AACRAO International will highlight opportunities by focusing on particular regions. First up: The Gulf.

Because of limited space at public universities, the Kuwait government offers scholarships to 4,000 students a year to attend private universities domestically and 6,000 students a year to study abroad, according to Oxford Business Group. Kuwait’s Ministry of Higher Education provides full scholarships to send Kuwaiti students “to attend an approved university abroad to obtain a specific degree, within the time frame of the program and according to the procedures and requirements in this by-law,” as it states in the Scholarship Rules and Regulations.

Students can apply through the Kuwait Culture website.
