The Baden-Württemberg Seminar returns this year in a virtual format. This seminar focuses on the German educational system, German-American academic comparability, and student exchange between Germany and the U.S.

Traditionally this event only allowed for a limited number of attendees due to the nature and logistics of the seminar. Moving into a virtual format for 2021 allows for a far greater capacity than years past giving higher education professionals who would otherwise be unable to attend the opportunity to participate.

The online seminar provides virtual visits to institutions in the state of Baden-Württemberg, virtual break-out rooms to connect with representatives from a wide variety of institutions in the Baden-Württemberg higher education landscape. All seminar attendees will also receive updates about the next in-person Baden-Württemberg Seminar planned for 2022.

Interested in attending?

The Baden-Württemberg Seminar is a wonderful opportunity for higher education professionals working in any of the following roles:

  • Study abroad officers

  • International student advisers

  • Admissions officers

  • Registrars

  • All staff with responsibility for postsecondary-level exchanges and/or institutional relationships

Applicants must be a member of either AACRAO or NAFSA to be considered for attendance.

Applications for this year’s Baden-Württemberg Seminar open August 16, 2021. We encourage you to save the date and share it with your colleagues.

Visit AACRAO’s Baden-Württemberg Seminar page to learn more and join the list to stay up-to-date on this event.
