Best Practices in the Evaluation of Displaced Students' Educational Records: Defining the Article 26 Backpack™ Protocols.

This invitation-only working group convened by AACRAO will bring together educational institutions, NGOs, government entities and credential evaluation professionals to share current practices to document a set of global best practices for working with the post-secondary educational records of displaced students to inform the practices and protocols of the Article 26 Backpack™.

The Article 26 Backpack™— the UC Davis Ecosystem for Refugee and Vulnerable Student Academic Mobility is a project of a consortium with the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the Issam Fares Institute for International Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Beirut and the leading educational software firm, iQ4.com

Groups will report back on their discussions
  
2:30 - 4:30Best and Acceptable Comparable Practices
Based on the synthesis, the group will discuss best approaches as related to the development of the Article 26 Backpack (TM) Tiers and Protocols.
