AACRAO Executive Director Mike Reilly honored with PESC Distinguished Service Award

Mike Reilly, Executive Director, AACRAO, received the Postsecondary Electronic Standards Council (PESC) Distinguished Service Award in a ceremony at the December 2020 PESC Data Summit.

The Distinguished Service Awards recognize volunteers from the PESC membership and education community who have served as leaders and made a positive impact on education. PESC leads the establishment and adoption of trusted, free, and open data standards across the education domain. In addition to Reilly, this year’s honorees include Joanne Duklas, Founder of Duklas Cornerstone Consulting; Alex Jackl, President & CEO, Bardic Systems; and Jason Weaver, Head of Product, Parchment.

“Honoring Joanne, Alex, Mike and Jason, leaders with commitment and many accomplishments over decades, signifies the amazing talent, experience, skills and wisdom within our community,” said Michael Sessa, PESC President & CEO.

Reilly has been AACRAO Executive Director since June 2012 and is a frequent writer and speaker on public policy matters impacting higher education. He will retire from AACRAO in June 2021.
