2013 AACRAO Nominations and Elections

Based on Bylaw changes voted on at the last annual meeting, the election of officers will be handled differently this year. A competitive slate for each of the open Board of Directors (BOD) positions listed above will be presented for electronic voting this fall.

A Competitive slate means that N&E will select two candidates if there are two qualified candidates for the position.
 

These two individuals will be presented to the membership online for them to vote upon and whichever candidate receives the most votes will be elected.

Write-in candidate space will be accommodated in the voting process. The membership will have the ability to add a write-in candidate for any officer position.

Electronic balloting/voting will occur prior to the annual meeting. There will be no voting on BOD positions at the annual meeting. VPs-elect will be announced in late December, once voting has closed and votes have been tallied. VPs-elect can expect Board orientation and participation to begin in January.
