Cash, along with Kristen Bowers, Associate Dean of Admissions at Cazenovia College, discusses how recruitment for new students at noncompetitive colleges and universities often continues after the May 1st admissions deadline, sometimes in order to ensure that students are the right fit and will, therefore, be retained. According to an annual report released by the National Association for College Admission Counseling, there were more than 400 colleges with openings after May 1st this year.
