How do you decide whether to attend a meeting? Top considerations may be factors such as stimulating program content, interesting presenters/attendees and exciting meeting location. AACRAO's major meetings excel in all three areas. In today's too-busy, TL: DR culture, finding the time and motivation to attend a meeting isn't always easy. But a carefully-chosen meeting can be well worth the investment.
Despite the prevalence of online learning and the temptations of resource-skimming, in-person, in-depth meetings still offer unique, irreplaceable ways to network with and learn from colleagues. Such meetings are ripe with information and learning opportunities not available online or over the phone, such as hallway conversations and off-the-record chats, making a personal impression and reading body language.
AACRAO's meeting sites are thoughtfully chosen to maximize attendees' learning and enjoyment--featured in culturally-rich cities that promise exciting experiences beyond the meeting program itself. So, consider joining us in one of these notable locations in 2015!
