The summer is a great time to plan upcoming campus events and activities that take place during the fall term. And the fall term is when a number of State and Regional organizations hold their annual conference. To assist Presidents-Elect and local conference committees, AACRAO’s State and Regional Relations Committee is co-sponsoring a Coffee Break on August 13, 2021, at 3 pm EST.
Join Dr. Tina DeNeen, Associate Executive Director of Meetings at AACRAO, Chris Huang, AACRAO State and Regional Relations Committee Chair, and Philip Hunt, AACRAO Vice President for Leadership and Management Development, for a panel/networking event to share strategies and best practices related to planning a virtual meeting, that can be used for in-person conferences, too.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions and challenges they are facing and also to share their experiences and successes.
Some topics we plan to address are:
Strategies to engage new members
How to handle your business meeting online
Online conference platforms
Ways to maximize vendor relationships
Resources available to make your conference accessible for everyone
Register today, and don’t forget to visit the AACRAO State and Regional webpage for updates and the free State and Regional Guide.
