Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are a critical part of the American higher education system, and the AACRAO Black Caucus is proud to present its upcoming webinar on the value of HBCUs to AACRAO.
AACRAO represents institutions in every part of the higher education community, from large public institutions to small, private liberal arts colleges. However, the voice of HBCUs is often underrepresented within AACRAO. This webinar is an opportunity to invite HBCU leaders to discuss AACRAO's value as a professional association and to share how Registrars, Admission Officers, and Enrollment Management professionals at HBCUs can benefit professionally and personally from involvement with AACRAO.
The webinar will be held on October 25, 2023, at 12 PM ET and will feature a panel of distinguished HBCU leaders, including:
Dr. Tomikia LeGrande, President of Prairie View A&M University
Dr. Wendolyn Davis, Executive Director for Pathway Alignment at Chattanooga State Community College
Portia LaMarr, Product Manager in Information Technology at The Ohio State University
Keisha Campbell, Executive Director for Enrollment Services & University Registrar at Morgan State University
The panelists will discuss the following topics:
The value of AACRAO membership for HBCUs
How HBCUs can participate more fully in AACRAO activities at the regional and national levels
The professional and personal benefits of AACRAO involvement for HBCU professionals
We invite you to join us for this important conversation about the value of HBCUs to AACRAO and to the broader higher education community.
