As first-time attendees of AACRAO, we were excited to have the opportunity both to attend the conference and to present. It was a great honor to be chosen as recipients of the Connor Scholarship, and our experience at the conference was invaluable as we were able to learn from our peers through professional presentations and casual conversations.

The networking opportunities were endless - it was great meeting others in our field from across the nation and from all different types of institutions. Gaining contact information from other institutions will allow us to connect on best practices issues in the future.

The wide variety of presentations made choosing a session difficult. We felt energized and engaged by the sessions and ready to tackle new issues and projects upon returning to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. The conference helped us see the breadth of issues that our colleagues across the country are working through and garnered ideas about issues we hadn’t thought about yet.

We appreciate the opportunity AACRAO and Connor Scholarship gave us and look forward to continuing our engagement with the AACRAO community.
