The 2023 AACRAO Technology and Transfer Virtual Summit is coming soon on July 11 – 13, 2023. Programming is designed to be as inclusive with time zones as possible across the nation. Each day begins at 11 am Eastern Standard Time (EST). The first two days end at 5 pm EST with the final day ending at 3 pm EST. In addition to sessions there will be workshops and multiple opportunities to network with attendees.
With the theme of “Creativity in Technology and Transfer,” sessions will cover a range of topics that are specific to technology, specific to transfer work, or a combination of both. We expect the first two questions from those considering attending will be, “What are the sessions, and will anything be applicable to the work I’m doing?” The Technology & Transfer Advisory Committee is working to curate and select the most relevant sessions so attendees will gain demonstrable professional development that can be immediately brought back to institutions. Don't forget, there's still time to submit your session proposal and present at the Summit.

A joint panel discussion with the leaders of Phi Theta Kappa and Tau Sigma, both transfer-specific honor societies at two-year and four-year institutions

If you attended the AACRAO 108th Annual Meeting, you were able to experience the Whova App. The Technology and Transfer Summit will use the Whova app (which includes a desktop platform) to streamline the Summit experience. Attendees will have the ability to view sessions directly in Whova, schedule their personal daily agenda, connect with other attendees, join or create social groups, and interact with vendors who are important to our conferences and summits. Instructions on how to download Whova to your phone and or your desktop will be provided.
