The start of October means cooler temps, warmer beverages, added layers, and #AACRAOctober!
AACRAO has once again teamed up with the folks at #EMchat to host weekly strategic enrollment chats leading up to the annual SEM Conference. Every Thursday at 9 PM EST during the month of October (and November 3), enrollment management professionals will log on to Twitter to discuss hot topics surrounding strategic enrollment management.
“#EMchat is a community that really focuses on professional development and sharing best practices in the industry,” said Alex Williams, co-founder of #EMchat. “Teaming up with organizations like AACRAO not only allow us to extend our community, but also bring thought leaders and researchers in as direct participants in our conversations.”
The conversation kicked-off on October 6 with a discussion around the recent changes to the 2017-18 FAFSA and the impact on admissions timelines. The following Thursday, the group discussed implications around Fisher II and holistic admissions practices.
“It's great to be able to work with such an engaged organization that we feel has a mission that totally aligns with our goals of furthering professional development for enrollment management leaders,” said Williams.
