As we close out another year at AACRAO, we would like to thank members who have supported us throughout the year. By attending meetings, voting, participating in surveys, and volunteering in committees, you are helping us shape the future of higher education!

Here are some highlights of 2015:

Meetings

Over 2,000 higher education professionals worldwide joined us in Baltimore for AACRAO's 101st Annual Meeting to develop insights and ideas, learn best practices and network with colleagues.  We are also proud to have Scott Simon, Host of Weekend Edition on NPR, and Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright in our distinguished roster of featured speakers.

At AACRAO's Technology & Transfer Conference in Austin, Texas, we presented the Professional Achievement Award to Lee Furbeck for her years of service as an AACRAO Conference Director.  The conference also hosted a new series of discussions on the extended transcript.

The Strategic Enrollment Management Conference in Hollywood, Florida introduced new team programming to help SEM teams facilitate and implement SEM planning on their campuses.  The year ended with AACRAO's Leadership and State and Regional meeting, which brought together AACRAO's Board of Directors, PAC chairs, directors, coordinators, volunteers, and state & regional officers.

Research

This year, we released over 13 reports detailing our findings on issues and practices impacting higher education academic and enrollment services.

This year, AACRAO has also partnered with NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in a year-long project funded by the Lumina Foundation to develop a diverse set of models for use by institutions who wish to implement a comprehensive student record. Visit this page to stay updated on the latest project news.

Publications

AACRAO released four new publications this year, available for purchase at the AACRAO Bookstore.  Some of these books are also available for download on Amazon Kindle.
