As we close out another year at AACRAO, we would like to thank members who have supported us throughout the year. By attending meetings, voting, participating in surveys, and volunteering in committees, you are helping us shape the future of higher education!

Here are some highlights of 2014:

Meetings

Over 3,000 higher education professionals worldwide joined us at our Annual Meeting in Denver, CO, Technology and Transfer Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Strategic Enrollment Management Conference in Los Angeles, CA.

In April, AACRAO co-organized the [Groningen Declaration](http://www.groningendeclaration.org/) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. Representatives from more than 30 countries gathered to share and learn about the many initiatives aimed at facilitating academic and professional mobility through the exchange of digital student data.

Advancing Research

We surveyed our members and other higher education professionals on practices integral to the higher education community to develop new insights and information for our members. This year, we released seven reports detailing our findings on issues and practices impacting higher education academic and enrollment services. Publications

We also published four new books, available for purchase online. Some of these books, like Helping Veterans Succeed, is also available for download on Amazon Kindle.

The AACRAO and higher education community also recently mourned the loss of Dr. Bob Bontrager, former Senior Director of AACRAO Consulting and SEM Initatives.
