AACRAO IES staff invites you to join us January 27-29, 2014 in Washington DC for the 8th Annual Winter Institute for Transfer Credit hosted at the Embassy Suites on 22nd Street.  IES experts with over 25 years of experience in the foreign credential evaluation field, lead an intensive course on evaluating transfer credit from foreign countries.

Over the course of three days, our presenters will cover the top 25 sending countries including China, India, Russia, and Germany.  Other key topics covered at the training include: awarding credit for British CGE Advanced Level Exams and for German upper secondary studies, overseas post-secondary transfer credit, converting ECTS credits to U.S. semester hours and foreign study into U.S. semester hours when a credit system is not used abroad.

Every year, over 70 attendees from both foreign and domestic higher education institutions come to attend this training.  This year, the training has been moved off site to a hotel in order to accommodate the growing number of attendees.  Not only does the Winter Institute allow attendees to connect and network with others who work in a similar field, but also it provides a forum to share troubles and questions that they face in day to day situations.

Please consider joining us for this training and sharing your experience and knowledge with the rest of the credential evaluation community.  Registration is opened until December 23, 2014. Click here to register.

Not able to make it? AACRAO IES also offers on-site trainings and consultations.  Please call 202.263.0290 for more information or contact Tiffany Hsu at hsut@aacrao.org.
