Associate Registrar and Director of Academic Operations, New York Law School

My name is Michelle Tsigaridas Weller (she/her), M.Ed. and I serve the New York Law School community in the role of Associate Registrar and Director of Academic Operations. I am the Communications Chair for the National Network for Law School Officers and a leader/advocate for the AACRAO Asian and Pacific Islander Caucus. 

I'm a student-centered higher education administrator and creative problem-solver. 
 
I exist at the intersection of identities that includes Filipina, Greek, US American, young-professional, cis-woman, working-mother, ally. I acknowledge institutional barriers to success and realize that change can only occur when underrepresented voices are heard, amplified and consulted at the heart of any strategic planning. My experiences have helped me to engage with students, faculty and staff with empathy, and to advocate for them personally and procedurally.
