Marisa Modeski has worked in Canadian higher education for two decades, specifically in registriarial portfolios. She is the Registrar at Western University and has worked in senior leadership roles at the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU, formerly Ryerson University). Marisa believes in ensuring that each student has an exceptional experience throughout their post-secondary journey. She works with stakeholders from across the institution, leveraging guiding principles of EDI, integrity, innovation, and excellence, to create tailored enrolment and retention strategies. She has served on numerous Canadian and international education advisory councils. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Journalism from TMU and a Master of Arts in leadership from the University of Guelph.
