Dr. Reid Kisling now works with the team at Stellic, helping institutions integrate their data systems with the platform to enable effective student interactions and streamline administrative processes. He has worked in higher education administration for the past two decades, during which time he has developed a unique expertise in the areas of technology architecture, digital transformation, business process analysis, organizational culture and change, and effective uses of information systems to drive enrollment services and growth. In his current role as a Senior Consultant for AACRAO, Dr. Kisling works to find innovative ways to increase the collaboration between student services and the academic enterprises of the institutions with which he works.
Before joining Stellic, Dr. Kisling most recently led the student development division at Western Seminary, including all aspects of student services, admissions, financial aid, records, and student affairs. In addition, he was the inaugural CIO for the institution, responsible for integration of technology across the institution and directing the expansion of the institution’s home-grown data systems. Dr. Kisling has significant experience leading change and process improvements for the institutions at which he has served. While serving as Registrar at George Fox University, Dr. Kisling restructured registrar’s office personnel to increase productivity and improve relationships across the institution. As a result, enrollment counselors increased interaction with both students and faculty as they became the primary point of contact for specific academic programs for course scheduling and planning, curricular change management, and advising services.
Dr. Kisling has authored articles on predictive analytics, strategic enrollment planning processes, student lifecycle management, and staff workload. A frequent presenter at AACRAO conferences and instructor in AACRAO’s Essentials of SEM online course, Dr. Kisling holds a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
