Becky Maxson is the Deputy Director for Compliance and Policy at Cornell University and has worked in higher education for more than 24 years. In Maxson’s role at Cornell, much of her work is dedicated to advancing efficient and effective student service by informing policy and helping to facilitate the integration of regulatory requirements with procedures, processes, and systems. Having started her career in an admissions and financial aid role before deciding that financial aid was her calling, she gained a broader perspective of the student journey, fueling her interest in focusing her talents within the field of financial aid.
