Aligning curriculum development and accreditation

Summary : Webinar: Automating the process of getting input and approvals for a curriculum change.

Accreditation requirements for higher education institutions are increasingly focused on maintaining standards around curriculum. Accreditors are asking for more documentation, more standardized and comparable data, and requiring schools to track and report on more detailed information more frequently.

Attend the “Aligning Curriculum Development and Accreditation” webinar on Wednesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. EST, with Connie Kiskaden, Curriculum Coordinator at Northern Kentucky University, to discover how she uses a curriculum management system to provide early notification of substantive changes from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and monitoring and collection of necessary documentation.

The curriculum management system automates the cumbersome process of getting the right input and approvals when there’s a curriculum change. Kiskaden sets up different access levels and customize views for unique audiences enabling her to provide faculty and staff with access to the information they need, when they need it, and export and report on the data.

The system simplifies creating custom approval steps and moving proposals to the people who need them with a single click while attaching all the documents needed. With the curriculum information stored within a central system, there is a neatly organized set of digital records when it’s time for accreditation review instead of stacks of papers. And there’s a single source of truth for curriculum data.

The curriculum management system’s ability to define and enforce process, regardless of where that process exists, enabled Kiskaden to expand its usage. With her 19-year background at Northern Kentucky University, including seven years spent as a research analyst, it’s easy to see how she was inspired to adapt the curriculum management system to manage other workflow-driven projects.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how you can leverage digital transformation to improve your accreditation process and discover other unique uses for a curriculum management system.
