Whether you are just beginning your career in higher education administration or are an established expert, AACRAO has online and in-person tools to support your career journey.

The 110th AACRAO Annual Meeting starts in less than two weeks in Seattle, Washington. Every year, AACRAO uses this in-person opportunity to provide an on-site job board featuring open positions in the field. Conveniently placed right in the middle of the conference action, attendees can’t help but stop and check out what is posted. Even if you’re not actively looking for a job for your department or yourself, it never hurts to know what’s going on in the field, and stay vigilant of the job market

Get Job Listing Exposure at the Annual Meeting

The AACRAO Jobs Board will be set up on March 30, the first day of the conference, and remain up until the morning of April 2. It will be located alongside the AACRAO Bookstore. Attendees are welcome to walk up during meeting hours and browse the listings, scan the ones they want to know more about, or send them to friends. With over 1,500 people expected to attend, session-goers, vendors, and other community members could notice your job listing.

There are two ways you can get your job(s) on the board:

  • Send your open position details to jobs@aacrao.org ahead of time so that a post can be created for you. Your post will be printed and pinned to the board with a QR code for attendees to scan.

    • Include in your email:

      • Position Title

      • Institution, State (remote/hybrid/etc.)

      • One-Sentence Description

      • Contact Information

      • Job URL (or Institution logo if no link is available)

  • Bring your printed job listing and pin it on the board yourself.

    • Get creative, but keep it professional. This is your chance to draw people in and stand out, but simple is always better.

An AACRAO staff member will update the AACRAO Jobs Board as needed during the conference. If you have feedback or concerns, please direct them to Malenah Hunter on-site, in the Whova event app, or via email to jobs@aacrao.org
