The phenomenon has been called the leaky pipeline, the black hole and the Bermuda Triangle; high-powered executive and professional women are increasingly opting out of, or otherwise disappearing from the workforce. The common belief is that these missing women are going home to take care of children and/or parents. But several studies found that women were often pushed out by inhospitable workplaces. In fact, the long-standing masculine competitive model of organizations may be at the root of the struggle to bring true diversity to the workplace. Most organizations were designed by men, for men.

In this webinar, you’ll learn what an organization designed with “feminine” principles looks like and how it differs from more “masculine” organizations. We’ll compare the two organizational types using the dimensions of strategy, structure, business and management processes, reward systems, people practices and leadership styles. We’ll also touch on some of the performance metrics of organizations with more women in management.
