Immigration Enforcement on College Campuses: A Joint Webinar with AACRAO and NACUA

April 16, 2025

April 16, 2025 | 2:00-3:00 pm ET

On January 21, 2025, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a directive that rescinded the “sensitive locations” policy which had prohibited Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enforcement action to take place at hospitals, churches, courthouses, and college campuses. This new policy states that ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) can take enforcement actions at educational institutions, unless exigent circumstances exist. Join a webinar with AACRAO and the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) to better understand these enforcement requirements and how they impact the sharing of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
