There are few things as toxic to an office or organization as the lack of trust emanating from leadership. Fostering a culture of trust, appropriate risk-taking, healthy questioning, and empowerment is a central role of the leader. A self-confident leader who has the appropriate perspective about the risk/reward balance and can develop team members knowing that mistakes will inevitably be made is critical to creating a culture of excellence. While the discussion has general applicability, women in leadership will be emphasized. This session will include some introductory material around trust and culture, followed by robust Q&A.
