Nathan J. Daun-Barnett, Ph.D., is Chair of the Educational Leadership and Policy department within the Graduate School of Education at State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Barnett is a nationally recognized expert on college access and choice for low-income, first generation, and under-represented students. An author of several books and scholarly articles, he is currently funded to examine the design and implementation of the Florida College Access Network and has conducted similar research in Michigan. He works closely with Say Yes to Education Buffalo to coordinate efforts to address students’ transitions from high school to college.
