In Valais, final exams are face-to-face

1,100 final year students from colleges and business and general culture schools (ECCG) in Valais will experience face-to-face exams. Secondary II students will take their exams in half-classes, and no longer in large rooms that can accommodate up to 150 students due to Covid-19.

A report is warning that results could be inflated again after exams were cancelled due to the pandemic and teachers' assessments were used to grade students but a teachers union said it's "unfair" to speculate grades.

Centralized testing in Belarus

In June the Government amended the Regulation on the procedure for organizing and conducting centralized testing. There is also a ban on making changes to the answer form after the end of the time allotted for the test. The issuance of certificates for centralized testing this year will be carried out from July 16 with the obligatory presentation of a certificate of education.

Leaving Cert students asked to limit social contacts ahead of exams in Ireland

Leaving Cert students have been asked to limit their social contacts and avoid social gatherings in preparation of their exams. Students who are diagnosed with Covid-19, are a close contact or a confirmed case, have symptoms of Covid-19 or are self-isolating or restricting their movements will not be allowed to sit the examinations.
