Leaving Cert results will issue to more than 60,000 students on Friday, September 3. It is later than the traditional mid-August date, but slightly earlier than 2020, when calculated grades, now called accredited grades, were used for the first time. A later release of Leaving Cert results will mean a tighter timeframe for the CAO college offer entry process, but colleges are putting plans in place.

Argentina moves forward with their examination schedule for 2021. Examinations will continue throughout the country and will conclude in December 2021.

The Baccalaureate exams, which had been a source of anxiety for students across Lebanon for the past few months, were concluded on July 31. The exams went relatively well, in part thanks to the fact that the committees that determine exam materials were exceptionally lenient with the questions due to the difficult circumstances in Lebanon.

Lebanon will not hold official Brevet exams/Grade 9 exams this year, revealing a proposal to “cancel it permanently for the coming years so that students do not remain hostage to political and economic fluctuations.” The decision to cancel the Brevet exams takes into consideration the national certificate’s state on one hand, and Lebanon’s public health situation on the other.

After considering that the 2021 school year is "without repetition", the Ministry of Education will propose another criterion to the Federal Council of Education. In addition, it will propose that there is more teaching time for the second semester.

Two agreements were signed on Monday with UNESCO and the Swiss and Canadian governments to support the Education Ministry's Institutional Strengthening Programme through the UN’s Multi-Partner Trust Fund. The minister also highlighted the funding contributions of the Swiss and Canadian governments to help provide quality education for all Jordanians through constructive coordination with the Ministry of Education, emphasising the ministry's commitment to this partnership.

The exam papers scheduled to be written on November 1 include English home language, first additional language and second additional language. According to the circular, the exams will start later than usual “to allow for maximum teaching and learning time” and will extend over six weeks.
