AACRAO is seeking a member volunteer to represent the association on the CAS Council (https://www.cas.edu/).
The AACRAO CAS Council rep will attend scheduled CAS Council meetings (approximately monthly) and submit a brief written report to the Board of Directors regarding activities or the update of any standards that are relevant to the AACRAO professions.
The representative will stay alert to any opportunities for collaboration opportunities between CAS and AACRAO.
The Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) promotes intra-campus collaboration and reflects good practices agreed upon by the profession at large through the CAS Standards. Comprised of over 40 collaborating professional associations
representing over 115,000 professionals in higher education, CAS has developed 50+ sets of standards and guidelines and 3 cross-functional frameworks within diverse areas of the college student experiences.
