University of Brasilia (UnB) will not take the entrance exam for new students in 2020. Students will be accessed through the National High School Exam (Enem). This comes as the country continues to deal with the coronavirus.
The University of Brasilia (UnB) will not take the entrance exam for new students. At a meeting organized by the Council for Education, Research and Extension (Cepe), this Thursday (8/10), it was decided that the entrance of students in the institution to attend the next semester will be exclusively through the National High School Exam (Enem).
The entrance exam had already been suspended in April and, until this Thursday, the possibility of a new date being scheduled later this year was being evaluated. Due to the continuity of the health crisis caused by the new coronavirus , however, the university decided, exceptionally, not to organize the selection process.
Thus, the 2,100 places for admission will happen through the Enem UnB Access , which replaces the Unified Selection System (Sisu) since 2019. UnB will prepare an announcement for exceptional access through the National High School Exam, replacing the entrance exam . The evaluation rules are still being analyzed.
