The minister also revealed that the exams will be postponed to July and August, the first and second phase, respectively.
Brandão Rodrigues also said that the first order for 100,000 computers was “completely distributed” and that, next week, 15,000 computers will arrive at Portuguese schools. Without talking about dates, the minister also said that the Government works every day to think about how to go back to school.
“We said from the beginning that it was important for schools to be open for as many days as possible, in safety”, he said, referring to being “premature” to say what the concrete solution will be.
It should be remembered that, in a note sent to the media, the tutelage made known the changes to the school calendar that “aim to compensate” for the school interruption between 22 January and 5 February. The Carnival break is eliminated , while the Easter break will run from March 29th to April 1st.
