It said announcing the results for 85,302 students who sat for the exam out of which 58,107 have passed that the exam went well in all of the Palestinian territories, including the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip despite attempts by the Israeli occupation to impose its curriculum in occupied East Jerusalem.
Mohammad Awwad, a spokesman for the Ministry of Education, paid special tribute to the Tawjihi students who were killed by the Israeli occupation forces this year, namely Kamel Abdullah Alawneh, Mutasem Atallah, and Hanan Khdour.
