“This year we will carry out two diagnostic evaluations, one at the beginning and one at the end of the year that will allow us to know how effective we were throughout 2023,” Pineda reported in the interview.
He also recalled that classes for the public sector begin on February 6. The official highlighted security measures such as the Territorial Control Plan that has favored school attendance.
It was yesterday that the president of the Association of Private Schools, Javier Hernández, pointed out that security measures have favored the displacement of students. «I am convinced that more and more students will move due to security conditions. "My New School is an educational reform through which it seeks to transform the educational system, to guarantee a comprehensive education, with warmth, and as the first lady says, with a prioritized focus on early childhood," he said.
Additionally, MINED launched a tender for $80 million to rebuild schools. The main improvements they make are the change of roofs, electrical system, porcelain floors, bathrooms, among others.
This 2023, the MINED implements the educational reform My New School, with which they renew the school infrastructure, and also develop teacher training, curricular updating.
