The Student and School Federation of Côte d'Ivoire (Fesci) has issued a press release in which it denounces a "dysfunction threatening the good continuation of the BAC Session Examinations - 2022".
BAC Session exams - 2022: FESCI's big concerns (Press Release)
The Oral and Practical exams for the Baccalaureate Session Examinations - 2022 began on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. According to the following schedule:
From Tuesday June 21 to Friday July 1, 2022: Technical Baccalaureate
From Monday June 27 to Friday July 1, 2022: Artistic BAC
From Tuesday June 28 to Friday July 1, 2022: General Baccalaureate.
Each candidate must be provided with a Convocation on which is mentioned all the information relating to his civil and school identity (Name and First name; Date and Place of Birth; Establishment of origin; Examination center; Table number; Matricule number etc. ). Better still, it is the document that distinguishes candidate students from non-candidate students and gives them permission to take part in the exams. To benefit from this, each student in the exam class (3rd and Terminale) pays an exam fee to be paid either to their establishment or online.
The Summaries are put online a few days before the start of the oral tests. Each candidate must therefore proceed with the withdrawal of his Invitation by printing it on the official platform of the Ministry of National Education and Literacy (MENA). Unfortunately, for this 2022 Session, a very large number of students who have nevertheless paid their examination fees according to the payment methods provided, have not been able to withdraw their Convocations.
These students therefore risk not being able to participate in the exams for which, in addition to having paid fees, they have worked so hard throughout the school year. And this, for reasons that they do not know and which, obviously, are not their fault. The Student and School Federation of Côte d'Ivoire (FESCI) asks the Ministry of National Education and Literacy (MENA) to take all the necessary measures to allow all beneficiaries to return to possession of their Summons. and to be assessed orally before the start of the written tests scheduled for Monday July 04 to Friday July 08, 2022. Otherwise, she fears that this malfunction will dangerously threaten the proper continuation of the BAC Session 2022 Examinations.
