Last week, the PACE program, the Program for Access to Higher Education, for the year 2025, was launched. The event featured the presentation of the 11 new educational establishments that will be incorporated, thus giving the O'Higgins Region full coverage.
The launch took place at the UOH Campus Rancagua, the institution that will implement the program in the affiliated educational establishments.
The regional secretary of Education, Alyson Hadad, stated that “as the Ministry of Education, we are convinced that – with the appropriate incentives and support – talents become visible and can be developed. Today we feel proud because we have expanded the coverage of the program, taking into account the PACE in 32 municipalities of the region (Pumanque does not have Secondary Education), to benefit young people regardless of their social context, geographical determinants or educational path,” stated the SEREMI Alyson Hadad.
It is worth noting that the PACE Program restores the right to higher education for students from vulnerable sectors and reaffirms the commitment to strengthening Public Education.
