The Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education - Icfes, applied in total normality, last Sunday, October 6, the Saber Pro or Saber TyT second semester tests abroad, under the electronic modality at home, to nearly 2 thousand people, located in 94 cities, in more than 40 countries.
"Once again we fulfilled the evaluation of education in Colombia. The application of Saber Pro and Saber TyT tests abroad allowed us to advance towards a future of digital transformation, promoting efficiency and accessibility through the use of technologies, keeping the country at the forefront of evaluation under the electronic modality," explained the General Director of Icfes, Elizabeth Blandón Bermúdez.
These tests are aimed at students from Higher Education Institutions who have already completed 75% of the credits of their respective professional, technical or technological university training programs and who for various reasons were outside of Colombia at the time of the exam. These tests are
made up of five modules that evaluate generic skills such as Critical Reading, Quantitative Reasoning, Civic Skills, Written Communication and English.
The Icfes applied these tests in 94 cities, including: Rome, Toronto, New York, Madrid, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Paris, Sydney, Toronto and Abu Dhabi, among others.
The Icfes reminds that certificates of attendance to the tests can be downloaded from Friday, October 18 and individual results will be published from Friday, January 31, 2025 on the website www.icfes.gov.co
