The Institute for Educational Assessment (Iave) has decided to increase the number of mandatory questions in national examinations for access to higher education, to avoid repeating the "too high" grades that occurred last year. The information is provided this Wednesday, June 9th, by Público , which cites the instructions for the performance and quotation of the tests, published this week by Iave.
According to the same newspaper, the national exams will maintain, this year, the model of last year, with a group of optional questions in which only the best answers will be counted. However, the number of mandatory questions increases to prevent students from escaping from subjects they do not master.
In some subjects, there will be up to three times more mandatory questions than last year, according to Público.
