More than five million grades, in two weeks after the end of the second quarter of the 2021 school year, managed to capture the Educational Centers Administration System (SIACE), after starting the process of modernizing the database used by the Ministry of Education to expedite the delivery of grades.
SIACE allows parents of official centers to have access to the academic history of their children, through a password provided by each educational center or the respective regional address to which their campus belongs, in this way they will be able to see the grades of their attended.
Last year the National Directorate of Educational Informatics began the process of modernization of the system, which entails the consolidation, standardization and validation, in a single database, to obtain available data, which allows educational authorities to develop strategies in as for the virtual classes that take place throughout the national territory, Meduca reported in a statement.
The changes applied to the system make it possible to reduce the time that teachers use in inserting notes and assistances at any time of the day. At the end of the modernization process, this action can be carried out in any browser and even on your electronic devices.
Currently, 64% of the grades that educators register quarterly have been collected. In the first quarter it was determined that the system captured eight million notes, which indicates that the process is agile and that teachers, in an expeditious manner, comply with their responsibilities, Meduca detailed.
