Icfes summoned 122 thousand people to present the first Saber 11 tests of this year

Nearly 122 thousand students and citizens enrolled in Saber 11 calendar B, Pre Saber and Validation of the Academic Baccalaureate, were summoned by the Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education who will present their tests next Sunday April 14th.

"This first application of State tests that we will carry out next Sunday generates data that helps measure the quality of education in the country. Therefore, it is important that all the people mentioned attend and take this an important step for their educational project. To fulfill this appointment with the future of these people of education, 275 application sites have been arranged, in 94 municipalities, influentially reaching the most remote areas of the country," said Elizabeth Blandón Bermúdez, general director of Icfes.

The State Saber 11 calendar B and validating tests will be carried out in a single day, in two sessions: morning and afternoon, using pencil and paper on site.

Those registered correspond to 95 thousand people who will take the Saber 11 Calendar B Test; 22 thousand students from grades 9 and 10 will take the Pre Saber test and 4,700 people over 18 years of age will seek to achieve a high school degree in Colombia with the Academic Baccalaureate Validation test.

Likewise, the Icfes has established mechanisms to guarantee that 1,289 people who have some type of disability can take the test in optimal conditions, with the required support, as well as 40 people deprived of their liberty.

Another figure to highlight is that 2,089 those evaluated are foreigners. This represents a great opportunity for them to access the education system in the country and job offers under equitable conditions.
